Pressure Vessel Design
A pressure vessel means a closed container that operates at a pressure higher or lower than atmospheric pressure.
A fired pressure vessel means a closed container that operates at a pressure higher or lower than atmospheric pressure and contains any heating element that does not generate steam. Examples of FPV equipment include Thermal Oil Heaters, Hot Water Boilers, Fired Heaters, Electrical Heaters, and others.
Alteration of Pressure Vessels:
Scope 1: Alteration (Modification)
Scope 2: Alteration (Re-rating)
