Forensic Engineering Division

Introduction
The Forensic Engineering Division (BKF) which operates at the DOSH headquarters is always ready to provide expert services in the aspect of forensic engineering to identify the cause of an accident. BKF is responsible as the Coordinator of the Headquarters (KIP) of the Investigation and Prosecution Section (SSP) of the state office to coordinate activities and provide advisory services to state SSP officers. BKF always ensures that forensic investigations can be initiated within 36 hours after receiving notification from the state DOSH office and use forensic engineering methods and technologies in assisting and enhancing workplace accident investigations to ensure success in court prosecution cases against those who violate the law.
BKF juga mempunyai Makmal Kejuruteraan Forensik (FEL) yang mendapat pensijilan akreditasi makmal MS ISO/IEC 17025:2017 BKF also has a Forensic Engineering Laboratory (FEL) which has received the MS ISO/IEC 17025:2017 laboratory accreditation certification from the Department of Standards Malaysia (JSM). This accreditation is a formal recognition where FEL is able to achieve the guidelines of the work process, activities, scope and duties as well as the quality of management of the laboratory operating and is recognized by international standards. The test reports produced from this laboratory have high reliability, integrity and quality so that they are not disputed by any party.
