MY Function
- Conducting studies, research, development and technical analysis on occupational safety and health issues that exist in workplaces.
- Enforce the following laws:
a) Akta Keselamatan dan Kesihatan Pekerjaan 1994 dan perundangan subsidiari yang dibuat di bawahnya; dan
b) Sebahagian daripada Akta Petroleum (Langkah-langkah Keselamatan) 1984 dan perundangan subsidiari yang dibuat di bawahnya.
- Conducting technical studies and analyses on occupational safety issues that exist in workplaces.
- Conducting incentive and publicity programs for employers, employees and the public to foster and increase their awareness of occupational safety and health.
- Providing advisory and information services to government and private agencies regarding management and technical aspects related to occupational safety and health.
- Serves as the secretariat for the National Council for Occupational Safety and Health.
