A. Introduction

The Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) is in the process of conducting a public consultation on the draft Occupational Safety and Health Guidelines for Jobs in the Robotics Industry 2024. Stakeholders are encouraged to provide feedback on the draft.

B. Background

These Guidelines apply to all workplaces as stated in the Occupational Safety and Health (Amendment) Act 2022.

These Guidelines apply to all workplaces as stated in the Occupational Safety and Health (Amendment) Act 2022. The OSH Guidelines for Employment in the Robotics Industry are comprehensive guides produced to provide the information needed to face the challenges of working in this sector.

These guidelines are developed to ensure that workplaces using robots can be managed and controlled from the design stage to decommissioning by employers and employees and those who have control over the robots. By following these guidelines, the possibility of accidents, injuries related to the robotics industry sector can be prevented.
