Teaching Center CHRA Manual Third Edition
The Occupational Safety and Health (Use and Exposure Standards of Chemicals Hazardous to Health) Regulations (USECHH Regulations) have been in force since 2000. The main provisions contained in these regulations involve health risk assessment of chemicals hazardous to health.
The provisions in the USECHH Regulations require specific training including methods for assessing chemical hazards, determining the adequacy of controls, determining the hazard of chemicals, reclassifying chemicals and recommended actions to be taken by employers. These elements are technical matters that require specific training by training centers with highly knowledgeable instructors, quality teaching modules and in line with the provisions of the applicable legislation.
Therefore, to ensure that the standards of training provided by teaching centers can be controlled, recognition will be given to teaching centers that meet the criteria set out in this guide.
