• Register and renew Occupational Health Doctor competency certificates under Section 31_C and Section 31_E Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994.
• Monitor Occupational Health activities carried out by Occupational Health Doctors, especially Medical Surveillance Programs, audiometric testing and reporting of occupational diseases.

Conducting workplace investigations pertaining to Medical Surveillance Programmes, especially adherence to the Medical Removal Protection (MRP) and other aspects of occupational health legal requirements.

• Planning and organizing seminars, courses, or dialogues to promote occupational health awareness.

Providing advisory services to state offices, external agencies, health practitioners, occupational safety and health (OSH) practitioners and the public regarding occupational health issues.
