- Manage and conduct Indoor Air Quality audits.
- Processing applications for registration as Hygiene Technician 1 (HT1)/Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Inspector, and monitoring existing registrations.
- Processing applications for registration of Hygiene Technician 1 (HT1)/Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) training centers, and monitoring existing registrations.
- Manage the Department's technical chemical monitoring equipment.
- Assess and process asbestos inspection and removal applications.
- Conducting investigations into complaints related to chemicals.
- Carrying out enforcement Chemical Weapons Convention.
- Monitor and coordinate implementation Prior Informed Consent (PIC) below Rotterdam Convention.
- Monitor and coordinate implementation Minamata Convention.
- Monitor and coordinate implementation Stockholm Convention.
- Reference center for chemical data mapping and data submission from State Offices.
- Assist in the management of complex specialized technical equipment – FTIR and GCMS.
- Manage procedures and documentation for officers participating in chemical management programs at the national and international levels.
- Process applications for registration of SOHELP teaching centers and trainees, and monitor the registration of existing teaching centers.
