Occupational health
Introduction
The Occupational Health Division is responsible for enforcing the provisions of legislation relating to Occupational Health in Malaysia. This division also plays a role in promoting health and health protection in every workplace.
Apart from enforcement, health promotion among employers and employees is an important core to encourage healthy work practices and subsequently create a healthy workplace free from occupational diseases.
This division consist of a Medical Officers, Nurses, and Assistant Environmental Health Officer (Health Inspector). This division is divided into two (2) sections, namely the Recognition Section and the Occupational Medicine Section.
